A dream of a Olah Hadasha is about to take place in Jerusalem. It is a dream in the form of Art Exhibition. The dream of a Brazilian girl that 20 years ago, when she studied Graphic Design in Barcelona, had the opportunity to come for a year to Bezalel in an exchange of studies. A dream that once had a university degree in Fine Arts in Brazil and now, after make Aliah, found in Israel the encouragement and inspiration to materialize.
This dream is being lived by Betina Schnaid who will make her first exhibition of paintings in acrylic on canvas in Jerusalem, from October 11 until November 9 at Gallery Espace10 in Jerusalem.
With one year in Israel, Betina Schnaid started seeing this dream happen when in November 2011 participated in a contest from Misrad Klita for artists and earned classification as an artist "Distiguished." Since then she visited galleries across the country and in love with Jerusalem decided to start with the delightful Gallery Espace10, whose space is exactly what we can call a stage for a dream!
Large size paintings that surround two meters have vibrant colors, movement and joy that begin in Brazil and arrive to Israel. Themes ranging from football matches and animals of the Brazilian fauna, until the dancers of Ballet School located in the building of Ulpan Beit A-Ham or people at the entrance of a bus in Jerusalem.
The paintings are cheerful and ideal for large environments and big circulation of people. Perfect for offices and corporate spaces, convey the joy of living. For residences, bring fun and color. To the viewer, it is almost an art naif which loads the pure pleasure of everyday scenes.
